Its June and you know what that means. The Las Vegas Skincare show! There were lots of great classes, new vendors and new treatments. I will be featuring Blueberry facials by Eminence in July. I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive the new Gravity Defying Glycolic treatment by Tuel. It was amazing! After a few days of peeling in a few places my skin looked better than it had in years. Shed the sun damage and even in the dry Vegas desert my skin looked radiant. I now have brought this treatment back to my treatment room for you to experience.
I am excited to bring in new treatments and equipment with it. I have done my research and have brought you only the best.
Microdermabrasion has been a hot topic. I found I wasn't excited about everyone sandblasting their faces so here is my alternative: Ultrasonic Microdermabrasion. It uses sonic waves and vibration to remove the dead skin and improve circulation. This is safe for even my Roseacea clients yet still very effective. Another option is the Dermafile. It is a crushed diamond wand like those used in traditional Microdermabrasion without the suction. Which in my opion is totally unnecessary. The other benefit is you can get much closer to the eye are for those crows feet. You cannot do that with those other treatments. The Dermafile was recommended to me by a another Esthetician friend of mine. She had been using the Hydrafacial(another popular treatment) and was finding it was leaving "hickies" all over her clients faces. Needless to say no one was excited about that.
I will be posting more soon... Jamie Jacob
